Hello This is Hamish just trying out the blog, does it really work? Is there anyone out there reading it? Well lets hope so! It is Monday night been a chaotic day still lots to do before we leave including one more school report. A mixture of excitement and emotion in the Macdonald household overwhelmed with tiredness, well three asleep so time to do some work. Will write more when I know this has worked and before I forget a big thank you from us all for the send off from church and Span for helping to set up this blog. Bye for now

Hope and pray you are able to laugh at the trials and tribulations and that Hamish locks doors from now on!! tee hee. Should you feel in need of a lot of time in a big old sand pit with camels, goats and us (don’t know which makes the worst noises or smells!!) please drop by we’d love to see you in Niger.

Hi Rachel Hamish and all
Lee Glazier – told me that you are going around the world in 80 days (hey oh well not quite) This is wonderful what a brilliant experience for the childred. I assume Rachel is home schooling. Some of the lessons the children will learn cannot be found in a text book.
We are off to Cornwall at the weekend will stay at Dave and Esther’s one night as per usual. We will go to church with them on Sunday morning and then watch them abseil and use a zip wire. Sounds like fun
Have a brilliant time – enjoying God’s creation.
I remember driving from New York to Los Angeles with my first husband and Philip was about 18 months old. Take plenty of water if you are crossing the dessert I suppose that goes without saying.
Looking forward to reading more blogs
Lots of Love to you all
